Can't belive i missed the monorail year............ I hope its back this year, talk about picking the wrong year to miss out!!! We've always said that they should have one!!!

It will effect where we camp aswell................

It was a god send last year! I used it everyday and it meant that I could cram more bands in without having to miss the end of one to catch the start of another.

I heard a rumour that they were going to extend it into the car parks this year as well to help with lugging all your bags into the site. Is this true? Anyone know what time it starts running?

I'm a bit concerned because it's been suggested that they will be introducing a new fare structure so you can only make the outward trip on alternative days because of the demand unless you get a season saver or agree to travel cattle class.

Am happy to announce that I have heard from the Monorail Transport Co-ordinatar that this year they are planning to re-open the 2008 routes again with some extended services going to The Park, Dance Village and Other Stage.

Just wish they would open the full site up and add stops at Pyramid, The Farm and Acoustic Stage... it's not difficult to sort

Sometimes I get back from Glasto wondering if the whole festival exists or whether it was just a figment of my imagination.

The last Glastonbury i was at was in 2007. No monorail then. Did this pop up last year or is this some sort of elaborate joke???

One of the things I like about the Monorail is that it's for Smokers Only. At least you tend not to see it when you're not smoking.

I'm not sure that the Monorail will be as popular this year now they've agreed the new 4x4 service to pick you up from the car park and drive you up to your camping spot. I reckon that will be the best £25 I'll spend at the festival this year.

Not so sure about the £10 tent erection service though as I still prefer to do that myself.
