AbsolutelyNo
If anybody could ever find themselves bored at Glastonbury there will most likely be something seriously wrong with them.
sdaveak47
Hang on i thought Mr Funk was captain glastonbury, come to camp funk, i'll help you get tickets all that kind of stuff. I didn't go last year (07 broke me) but i know a few who said it was one of the best this decade. i can't believe what ever changed last year was as big as the superfence going up. but whatever the reasons your posts make you look like a bit of a twat

Paul ™
Why don't you come over for Lowlands Festival in The Netherlands. Loads of UK'ers visit every year. It's inspired on Glastonbury, but far smaller. Even the mainstage is in a tent, headliners not that big, excellent electronics line-up. I go every year and this year for the firts time to Glasto. We'll swap!!! ;-) Check www.lowlands.nl

mrfunk
High praise indeed. I wish I had more time and money to go to more fests, European ones would be all that more exciting. on a more sombre note; Mr F, it's such a shame you feel the need to tell everyone how crap a time you had at Glasto last year. Especially with you being amongst the main contributors to the efests Glastonbury boards in the past. If you had a crap time, it's more of a reflection on yourself, rather than Glasto being a crap place to be. These boards are for Glastonbury enthusiasts, if you don't like Glasto, maybe you should just leave. Please mate, change your sig, it puts you in a bad light. mrfunk
You spent all last year organising some complicated scheme to help complete strangers on here have an unfair advantage over Joe Public in getting to the front of the queue to buy tickets. On the back of this you then organised an efests campsite in your own name. Now you're telling everyone on here that you've outgrown this boring festival. 'Attention seeking brat' are the words that spring to mind.
Paul ™
Harsh Mark Mr F, fair enough.. as I said..take a break.. enjoy some other fests.. do return in a couple of years and relive (relove) that festival.. its not changed in the last 4/5 years.. if anything its got better.. mrfunk
Guilty. However, I exercised enough restraint last year when the boards were full of his posts about his ticket-buying scheme. I personally didn't agree with it as I saw it as a way of introducing an extra level of unfairness into what was already a difficult ticket-buying situation. Fine if you're helping out your mates, but if you're setting it up to help out total strangers on a large public message board, you have to ask why he was doing it. Why did he see it his business to help complete strangers, who he didn't know from Adam? When he then went on to set up a campsite named after him, I had my answer.- yes just a jolly nice chap who just likes to help. Last year, I said nothing other than make a few posts expressing my misgivings about the unfairness of (1) Seetickets' "once you're through you can order as many tickets as you like" website and (2) his scheme which exploited this. and help many people to the path of hapiness He's now chosen to start a few silly topics basically pointing out how he's way too experienced to appreciate this boring festival any more. I see this as an open invitation to ridicule, and it would be rude not to take him up.
