2/Z
first gig was a fest, donington 94, first band to play that day were pride and glory (zakk wylde's band) and it is still vivid in my memory first crush, first crowd surf and i lost my mate for the rest of the day!! (first gig after this was slayer with machinehead supporting in newport). last gig (not countin last years glasto) was nickleback a few years ago. last years glasto first set i saw was levelers in the leftfield. last set i saw groove armada. tbh i dont think iv been to a gig i havnt enjoyed, one of the best was defo massive attack in queens square in bristol
darrenbha
Just acquired King Blues' album. Not quite what I expected. They like that live? Would imagine it goes down better in the live arena.....

austrian_zeppelin
1st big gig. Billy Idol / Sisters of Mercy playing my hometown back home in Austria (small town, the hysteria surrounding the gig was hilarious, with threats of 700 english hooligans coming over spread across the newspapers) last gig. Metallica last night at the O2....one of the best live bands ever. FACT

glastonburynoodles
First gig - Housemartins, Bridlington Spa sometime in '87 I think. Had to dig that up from the archives Last gig - The Enemy, Stone Roses Bar, York, Feb '09. Great gig in a small pub. A night I will remember for an age. The last time I saw them was playing to 30,000+ at Leeds. First Glasto gig - Could have been Idlewild in '02. However I did get itchy feet all day and don't think I saw a complete set until the evening when I was dragged to see Faithless. But that's a whole different story Last Glasto gig - The Verve

daveinafield
And still as good now as they were in 1980! I was talking to a bloke at the bar at Glasvegas and he loved them and had seen them several times; so horses for courses I suppose. I thought the other 3 bands were great, however! By the way, in 1980 there was a young Irish band called U2 supporting SLF; I wonder whatever happened to them?
