WS_Jack_III
is emily not trusted? She gave names the other day like lily and doves and they are still TBC. Do you not trust her Neil.

Funkfarley
He gets a call from ME to say "Neil, the little girl's been talking to the press again, don't take her serious, she still gets pocket money".
TheBoyInTheBubble
Giddy Blonde that she is...what does she know about organising a festival and booking bands!!
Funkfarley
Nothing! You'd think she'd have picked up a few things around the breakfast table. That's why she only gets to look after a little tucked up place in the far corner. She probably has a mini-stage at the back for her dollies. Andeeroo
Must admit to thinking this myself the other day. There's obviously some other criteria that hasn't been met.

eFestivals
Genius. Who would have thought that. Bands playing at Glasto...!! Dunno why I didn't think that up myself. the point is that Michael and Emily mention bands that are playing all the time each and every year, but they're not considered "officially announced" even by the festival when they do that. So I stick to how the fest deals with it, otherwise I could mark all of the bands that have self-confirmed as similarly confirmed.
benisright
Surely a simpler answer is; we dont know if they are fully signed sealed and delivered yet. We only know that the talks are in an advanced stage, so much so that emily is confident that they will play.

incident
Another point is that self-confirmed acts aren't always reliable. It's not all that unusual for a band to announce themselves when they've not been booked. The biggest example I can think of was last year, when Jack Black said Tenacious D were playing..
