ok, this isn't Download based but hope i might get some help on here. Going to see 2many djs at manchester academy in june (the saturday of the weekend before Download, what an ace 2 weekends it'll be!) and it finishes at 3am. and me and my mates are gonna need somewhere to go until the first train back to liverpool in the morning, anyone know any good rock/metal bars or clubs that stay open till silly o' clock? hell, i'll be high as a kite hopefully so does anyone know ANYWHERE good that will be open till the very daylight hours?

hmm shame you're not coming on a froiday night coz jilly's is open until 7am.. what time is your train? most places shut at 3am but postmortem at club phoenix and caged asylum at ruby lounge are both open til 4am.. here are links:

I'm not from Manchester... But I'm going to that It's going to be SWEET! I'll probably stay at the Hatters Hostel, but now you put the idea of an all nighter in my head...

Didn't realise it was a Saturday, Tom told me it was a Friday.

There is a rock type pub place near Granada (behind Spinningfields if anyone can be more precise than that - like the name) - I'll have a look if I can while I'm at work tomorrow - otherwise you're scraping the barrel in the city centre for rock places... At least on a Saturday.

thanks for the help guys! man, why does Jillys stay open till 7 on a friday and not a saturday?!? we're looking for somewhere that'll stay open till about 6-7am as 2manydjs finishes at 3. i highly doubt we'll get a hostel, we'll be too buzzing to sleep fingers crossed, and i hope we don't end up in a park with tins from the 24 hour offy!!!

edit - and sorry inspectedinspector, no idea on the supports. we just saw the ad in Q magazine and it didn't mention anything, we just went ahead and got the tickets.

JUNE WILL ROCK! the weekend after Download is my mates stag weekend too... christ its gonna be a messy few weeks!
