just to wind everyone up and spread more seeds of false hope/doubt, here are some more acts that I reckon could carry the headline slot on the Pyramid stage (a mate told me they're all playing this year):

Weezer

Kanye West

Bob Dylan

Prince

The Prodigy (I know one of the repliers mentioned it)

The Pixies

Eddie Vedder / Pearl Jam

Van Morrison

Sigur Ros

R.E.M.

Kate Bush

Surely Prodigy will turn up this year? And wouldn't it be great if Pearl Jam played? I have also yet to see Sigur Ros, and I would be absolutely made up if they were on the line up, although I know they'd probably do the Other Stage.

another possibility is moby.

he's playing werchter classic (the one day event at the same location, generally with more of a oldie/legend (this year being depeche mode) on the 20th june, so should be around.

would be 6 years since his last headliner performance which went down a treat. think this makes the most sense to me actually.

nah, not a big enough draw nowadays - he's headlining Wakestock.

"Michael? Hi, its Liam Howlett from the Prodigy. Listen, sorry for slagging you off when I was doing a load of Bronson back in the late 90s. Anyway, our latest album is number one in the country at the moment (thats 5 in a row by the way!!) and I hear theres a Friday night spot vacant? Id love to bring the band down and make complete shit of the place. Like I mean, people leaving the Pyramid field as if someone has beaten the crap out of them standard. Y'knowwhatimean, respect".

This needs to happen.

Hi,

It was me that started the thread the other week about NY not playing, which I heard from a friend that is a booker, not with glasto but still very reliable, the same girl that i got that info from has dropped a MASSIVE hint it will be Kasabian.

kasabian would perhaps fit with them not being announced for V, which I thought they would considering they're touring with oasis and the enemy and both of them being confirmed.
