i was at leeds when white stripes dropped out it was due to jack white punching some drummer he didnt like in a bar in london and re breaking his wrist which had just recovered from another injury think they played reading then had to drop out of leeds i also booked tickets to see them at sheffield arena 2 years ago but they dropped out due to meg whites condition caused by the leaked porn tape i dont think they will play as they never seem to when im supposed to been seen them fingers crossed though this would make my year :(

Agreed, I saw both those performances. Moby might be worth a punt in the dance village and I suppose Glasto has given a few bands a chance to move up to a headline slot, so Kasabian might be the choice.

Agree with some on here about the Prodigy, they would be great but seems to be history between them and Eavis which stops that, along with the IOW gig.

Faithless would be great or maybe David Gilmour should be begged to do the headline as a fitting memory of Richard.

Someone mentioned Keane. hope not, that chubby cherub and his pals have no place at the very top table of live music.

Kasabian would make my day. Ive wanted them to play since day 1, but I get the feelin its not goin to happen but would LOVE it if it did. I think its goin to be the white strips who take the fri nite slot & coldplay will take the 4th headliner slot.

They are a poor, poor replacement for NY.

Been listening to On the Beach a LOT recently. Not only his best, but one of the greatest albums ever made.

And I know my tunes by the way, the first record I ever bought was Chubby Checker and the Fat Boys “Yo Twist”.
