We always travel from Telford so come along the A5 from the west and are directed right at the small island just before Weston Park's main entrance and go a short distance along that road to park up. The problem with this is you end up with a bloody long hike up to the camping areas which can be a killer!!

Do those people coming along the A5 from the opposite end (from the East) get diverted to the other car parks situated up near the far end of the red camp site coz if so we'll come the other way this year to save our legs!!!

Just ignore going right and carry on straight over and along the A5, its what we did the last two years after friends parked in east and we realised just now much closer to campsites it is! We'd always done what you had and it is so far to walk! No one is going to stop you at the roundabout cos its a public road and people live down it!
