I have a confession...

Which one were ou at. I have been to loads of festivals and have always thought at V was really tame. I remember one year there even being police helicopers out with big lights so they could light the way for the giant conga line on the Sunday night.

Admittedly it is a lot of money for two days but its a case of them charging what people will pay. I remember years back when Glastonbury sold out and the tickets were going for silly money on Ebay ME saying if he thought the tickets were worth so much thats what he would sell them for. V is all about making money but so is the local pub.

It was at staffs.. we could hear people trying to intervene and getting battered hence us just legging it. I think there was a big group of them with some kind of weapon. I just cant go back after hearing the noise of people being battered in their tents and screaming... horrible.

hoods can take a couple of cans or pop bottles filled with spirits. Tuck a couple of pop bottles of spirits down the back of your trousers and tie a jumper or hoody around your waist. My mate wears a pair of really baggy combat pants its amazing what you can get in your pocket.

Oh and I do find having a nearly finish can of lager in your hands helps they are more bothered about making you get rid of it. I am always really nice as well and have my bag open ready to search when I do that they usually just have a quick glance in the bag.

My confession.........

Not overly excited by headline acts so far announced i.e Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen and the likes of Franz Ferdinand.

Need a killer band like Kings of Leon again!!

Oh, plus my wife bought Duffy's album earlier and I quite like it - the shame!!!

Ok.

I can win this.

I fully expect to be ostracised.

So I shall take this moment to thank you all for humouring me on the threads I have started, for generally chatting to me and accepting me as one of your own.

You guys are great but I feel what I say next may end our beautiful friendship.

I have tickets to go see Simply Red in the summer.

ok. Tra....**Picks up knotted knapsack on a stick and heads for the door**
