Bands on the Sunday

Aparently Avenged Sevenfold, Alice in Chains, Thin Lizzy, Mastodon, Lamb Of God and The Sword are all appearing at Metallica's gig at Marley Park on 1st August.

That pretty much makes them certain to play the Sunday assuming this is true, aparently an Irish radio station confirmed them for Marley Park. Also found it on ticketmaster

They are all gonna be on the Metallcia day with them aren't they, it's been obvious for ages that only the 'Metallica bands' have been annoucned so far. This monday is gonan see (at least some of) the Linkin Park day bands annoucned I think.

Presumably the same team will be doing that one.

My guess is that Avenged sevenfold would be top of the second stage, and the other bands will complete the Metallica stage on that day. The sort of time gaps they'll have between bands will be similar to what it'd be at Sonisphere, so from a technical point of view this would be the warmup. First year they can't afford any hiccups.

It wouldn't surprise me if there is a similar sort of gig (possibly not in Ireland) for Linkin Park.

I heard AIC were metallicas special guests whi i would have said would have placed them 2nd. To be honest, the line up is so filled with top rate bands, putting them in order would be difficult.

i would of thought avenged would be on sat with linken nin is goona have to be on sun or linken will look like the weakest headliner of all time(which there probably not far off anyways. Looks to me like very strong sunday weak sat so far but its all guess work!
