popcornmaster
I'm really curious now; can you answer either of these questions ? played it before and year ? or is there a thread (bar this one) which mentions your band already ?
incident
The thing that's got me stumped - he/she implied /index.php?s=&showtopic=112763&view=findpost&p=2647255">here that they've played Latitude in the past - as far as I can see, from the above list that basically narrows it down to Franz Ferdinand or Arcade Fire, one of which is already confirmed and the other isn't touring. sungubala
sungubala seems to be a mountain camp in south africa, so I'm thinking the "sun" doesn't necessarily imply sunshing underground... Edited March 8, 2009 by sungubala

Messy
Session drummer implies experience, someone older than a lot of the drummers in the bands listed earlier. Are you Fabrizio Moretti?

incident
has a connection with devendra banhart who's played latitude (at least once), but I'd probably think it's more likely the guy's english based, as played twice and by the looks of things looking to buy a ticket this year. think we can probably rule out the strokes & arcade fire...down to 14. mercury
duels and the sunshine underground have both played latitude before i think, so it's probably not them due to the fact he said he's played latitude twice before as a session drummer but not with his current band. (at least i think thats what he said) Edited March 8, 2009 by mercury

ralph250
I'm going back to my original guess of mark richardson (feeder); due to the south africa link, and also he's done bits of session work according to wiki. edit: for definite sungubala is also a mountain bike route, and given mark's biked in south africa; makes the most sense. http://www.mtbroutes.co.za/route.php?route...96082fc10f0732d http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Richardson_(musician) Edited March 8, 2009 by ralph250
