BBC documentary looking at 'legal highs'

Hi there,

My name is Chris Alcock and I'm making a television documentary for BBC3 looking at some of the issues linked to 'legal highs' (herbal highs, party pills, etc). I'm keen to talk to people who use or have used legal highs, to get their views and opinions, without any obligation to be involved in the programme. If you’re up for a bit of a chat email me on chris.alcock@bbc.co.uk and I’ll get straight back to you.

Thanks.

I'm probably not the right person for this, but Glastonbury is my legal high! I get the impression I'm relatively unusual in never having tried drugs or.. even a single puff of a cigarette! Beer and women are enough vices for me!! Anyway, Glastonbury leaves me buzzing in this mad dream world, who needs anything else when life is this good :)

I've done them a few times and would't ever again ! the early ones used to be pretty good (bzp) but the comedown can be horrific ! very bad insomnia feeling like Sh*t etc, a mate did some at glasto last year and all he got off them was being rather ill !

if you search these pages there was a long running thread last year all about them !

I had the herbal pills with bzp and they were really good, few years later I went to the shop and the bloke said those ones were illegal now. So I got some others and I've never felt like I was about to die so much in my life!!!

I'm sure they mess you up more than illegal drugs.

It was fun for the first hour then we just felt like utter utter shite, didn't sleep all night then I had to get a coach home and I thought everyone around me was dead. It wasn't nice at all. Never again!

I would never do drugs at a festival though as I'm the most paranoid person ever without them

When I tried salvia I ended up just rocking back and forth on the floor screaming that I needed to listen to Babyshambles now or I was going to lose my mind. It wasn't a pleasant high.
