^^ As above! Well nice ^^

Following your criteria though, breakfast wise it has to be cereal bars (specifically Kellogs Elevenses choc chip) a couple of those and a brew will last you all the way to the first cider. Oh, and Brioche too, lasts for a good while, well tasty and weighs nowt.

Proper food wise, eating on the move scuppers anything that needs cooking which limits options. I think it's worth taking a stove or a throw away BBQ and knocking something together before hitting the arena. Stagg Chilli and pitta and the like. You can get some really nice chilli/stew type stuff in bags that lasts for months and you just need to heat up in a pan, tins of meatballs over noodles are well nice and if all else fails - pot noodles are a life saver.

That and Haribo

There was a stall selling chicken wraps that were really good and quite good value (Chelmsford), lots of different flavours and very filling. Other than that there is a short walk to a decent pub that does food, but I couldn't possibly share the details for fear of finding queues this year!

It's all about the burgers from that gourmet burger wagon. Massive, good quality meat and quite cheap as far as I remember. Or, as someone touched on earlier, the huuuuge yorkshires. Not very portable though. I remember we opted out of them last year because we couldn't sit down anywhere to eat them.

I always bring food and then always throw most away as can't be a**d to cook it!!

My essential food items are

Smoothies

crunchy nut cereal bars

capri sun

coke

haribo

do bring BBQ thingie for 1st day and some burgers but that's all cooking end up doing tbh - this year not bring much food just liquids cos it's just waste of money for me as weed out half decent/filling/cheaper food in the arena anyway as only tend to eat once a day at festies....
