Sweetheart how old do you think I am?

LMFAO. You have totally made my day. Honest to god.

I can't remember the last time someone believed me to be a virgin!!!! Let me think . . . . some time in the mid 90's. I think. Bless your little cotton socks.

I do miss playground insults. And now I've gone and made myself feel old!!!

Theres too many festivals in the UK, you can't judge unless you've been to them all

Unless you were just saying which festival has the best line up this year which you can't do either because they haven't all been announced

oh by the way Oxygen isn't in the UK, its in Ireland

PS: I did say that I was "beginning to think you were". I have since changed my mind. I'm allowed. I'm a grown up! I think.

Well i think in the majoritys case it would be an obvious Glastonbury 1st, R/L 2nd and then V fest 3rd, but on my opinion im really not a fan of Glasto,

Id probly say .

1 - Reading/Leeds

2 - V festival

3 - T in the Park

4 - Glastonbury

5 - Oxygen

6 - Bestival

Of those 5 I've been to Glasto, Reading and V, but V is the only one I've gone to more than once (actually been 4 or 5 times, tho sometimes just for one day blah blah blah). I wouldn't say that V is the best of the three, because, obviously, that would be Glasto, but I like V, because it's easy, and it's a bit of fun and you can treat it more like a day out than you can with Glasto. But then, I'm relatively close to Chelmsford as I'm in Kent, so probably wouldn't make the trek if it was more of a distance.

Overall it depends what you want doesn't it. I can't see myself doing the full-blown camping thing at a festival any time soon, so for that reason mainly V is more appealing. If I had to tell someone to go to one festival tho ever, it would hands down be glastonbury, because really everyone should do it once.

Saying that though, I have some brilliant memories of V and have seen some of my favourite bands - Kings of Leon, Guillemots, Radiohead...

I mean, it's always going to be what you make it, isn't it.

  • 5 weeks later...

well as ive been to to the big 5 countless times heres my top 5.

1. glasto by a country mile

2. download

3. t in the park

4. rading/leeds

5. v

Im not bothered by lineups really as in every lineup theres a few bands I want to see, v is really close to where I live which is pretty good but for some reason it just doesnt feel like a proper festival. leeds festival in my opinion is alot better than reading for atmosphere. im not really into the heavier side of rock/metal but download is a fantastic festival for atmosphere and love that festival. t in the park another fantastic festival for all out parrtying as the scots so do know how to party.

but glasto has it all and my second glasto 1998 changed my outlook on life completly. my first festival ever was glasto 97 where i just saw bands and went back to tent, but went with people who already had been to glasto in 1998 and oh boy that changed lol.

wifes giving birth this june and a bit gutted not going to glasto an download this june...every cloud has a silver lining and all that lol.
