Do we ever get that many serious whispers of acts lower down the bill? I know one occasionally sneaks through, but seem to feel it does gravitate towards the trio at the top of the tree. -

Ultimately this. Of course, arguments can be made for the risk with others too - The 1975 have a frontman whose provocations may well not play best to a neutral crowd, and Sam Fender's health issues mean there's a chance he won't make it either. -
They’re the biggest hardcore band in the world. If they’ve been working on a new album and it’s ready to go come next summer, they’re going stratospheric. They’ll easy be able to pull the punters into a big outdoor show.
