mineapolis
Agreed. But I wouldn't want all those bands to be announced. Neither would I want any of them to replace Neil Young. My preference would be for just one of them to be the secret 4th headliner so that there is a good mix of headliners for everyone. In fact, I'd agree with Eavis that this is the best line-up ever if any of those are the 4th headliner - would be one of the strongest bills I have seen at the top of the Pyramid for a good while. Tugger2k
maybe the people disapointed with NY should join with the IOW facbook page and form 1 super anti NY group. hell, maybe their are people that dont want him at hyde park as well that they could get together with. then, maybe, with all their collective power they could get him to never play britain again and we can get back to coldplay/killers/oasis every couple of years!! Tugger2k
Odd isn't it - only last week we were laughing and pointing at IOW festival goers who didn't want Neil for being musically illiterate, and happy in the knowledge that would never happen with a Glasto crowd. arteet
Since Neil Young has been rumoured and now announced I have started listening to his stuff on my new favourite toy (spotify) and am loving it. Im 25 and admit I didnt know any of his stuff behorehand but I am glad I have checked it out. I have also done the same with Bruce and do not think I will be heading to the Pyramid that evening. Anyway. for me tho its a great mix and more original choices than most festivals would even dream of. Well done Glastonbury
Tugger2k
And I was agreeing with it. It's pathetic. Maybe they should just have the headliners as the people with the most NME covers in the last twelve months.
bombfrog
I'd have been happy with Bruce or NY, I just think both is a tad dull. If it ws me I'd have varied the line-up a bit by having a big dance act on the friday, The Boss on the Saturday and Blur on the Sunday. Funkfarley
people need to realise that the 3 pyramid headliners are a long way from the be all and end all of the festy

Funkfarley
not in anyway - but its not all about the pyramid headliners - saturday and sunday i'll be checking out whats on at one of many other music stages

KANKLES
Why would people want the shite stripes to play? They played a few years ago and they were shite. Other festivals get the same shite headliners every year, why do people want acts who have already headlined in the past few years? Blur are shite, but Springie and Youngie will be amazing. The Nal
I think people are expecting a whiney acoustic show. Anyone whos seen Neil Young before knows he is f**king LOUD. But we may also get a few acoustic gems thrown in there.
