Now, let's offer some 'constructive criticism' to the original hilarious name of this thread - 'Cock'play. Please can I point out why this is totally crap?

1. The word 'Cock' does not rhyme with 'Cold'

2. The word 'Cock', whilst mildy entertaining, really doesn't beat 'Purple Veined Custard Chucker', or 'Blue Veined Porridge Gun', though I feel fitting such long terms for the penis could be 'in vein' (god, I'm on form today)

3. A cock is also a male chicken. And next door have got one which keeps crowing at stupid o'clock in the morning, keeping me awake. A humourous line for point 3? I keep being woken up by a cock at the crack of dawn.

Although it must be noted that 'Cock' contains the same amount of letters as 'Cold', it's merely an adequate replacement.

That is why 'Cock'play is pretty rubbish really, and not in the same league as The Minge Tings which is cleverer. Also - rather bizarrely, I am a fan of Coldplay's music, but not the Ting Tings, so I approve of Abbathehorse's excellent suggestion. Minge should be used by everyone at least once a day. And I've done it AGAIN with play on words. Phnar, phnar.

Be careful how you use cocks (there's another). A good use of the word?

Cockwomble. You all know how much I love that word.

A bad use?

Cockplay. I hope I have demonstrated why.
