Haven't heard anything by them. Not a problem really, but just think it'd be better for the balance of the festival in terms of anticipation if some artists who has done something worth sitting up and taking notice of in the last five years were being confirmed. as has been said i'm sur eover the coming weeks that'll be the case, tastes for everyone an all that. Just seems very geriatric at the moment, migjht run a book, first act to piss themselves on stage or something...

Teach Your Children sums up the spirit of Glasto and will have me in tears.

You, who are on the road

Must have a code

That you can live by.

And so, become yourself

Because the past

Is just a goodbye.

Teach, your children well

Their father's hell

Did slowly go by

And feed them on your dreams

The one they pick's

The one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why

If they told you, you would die

So just look at them and sigh

And know they love you.

And you (Can you hear and)

Of tender years (Do you care and)

Can't know the fears (Can you see we)

That your elders grew by (Must be free to)

And so please help (Teach your children)

Them with your youth (You believe and)

They seek the truth (Make a world that)

Before they can die (We can live in)

Teach your parents well

Their children’s hell

Will slowly go by

And feed them on your dreams

The one they pick's

The one you’ll know by.

Don’t you ever ask them why

If they told you, you would cry

So just look at them and sigh

And know they love you.

Somebody peel me off the walls! This is more amazing news. CSN are not only one of the very best bands I've ever seen live, they are probably the most influential artists named in connection with this year's festival. Their impact in the late 60's was enormous -they changed the whole musical direction of bands like Grateful Dead (who have admitted they made their best studio albums by trying to ape CSN's harmonies) and many others - I'm fairly certain that even The Band were influenced to some extent. I'm already wondering if Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young are the band that Michael doesn't want to unveil until the very last minute. This would fit perfectly.

I am finding it quite funny with the use of the term 'anything relevant over the last few years' etc etc.

Ahhh the yoof of today. I guess i shant be seeing any of the yoof waring those t-shirts from last years relevant bands then...

Just give things a try guys. The same as us 'over 25's' take a punt of newer bands, it aint no different the otherway round

Wow, if this is true then the Eavis' have pulled out all the stops this year.

Yes, for you youngsters these are "old" acts, but the likes of NY, CSN and Bruce are truly living legends, and all have had huge influence on more acts than anyone can mention.

Give 'em a chance and your musical educations will be enriched.
