ive taken a liverpool shirt every year. Liverpool flag at the camp too. Guess all the people playing in the Glastonbury world cup will be wearing footy shirts. Music and Footy are two of my passions and dont see any issue at all

On the theme of shirts at Glasto - I have worn my England shirt at Glastonbury before when they've been showing the football but I have never taken my Villa shirt. I don't think theres anything wrong with it, but I also know that football fans are one group of people that it still seems to be OK to make sweeping judgements about. I'd rather it wasn't like that, but I'd also rather not voluntarily subject myself to that kind of snobbery during the best 5 days of the year.

Don't worry - we cheated ourselves out of it soon enough (and everything else we might've been in the running for).

I would've liked to go to Gillingham - it is apparently slightly less difficult to get to than Mars!

My favourite Gillingham memory is with PNE. The Gills were their bogey team for years until they finally beat them with an own goal from Barry Ashby. Cue PNE fans singing Barry Ashby songs for the rest of the game. "Theres only one Barry Ashby", "Barry Barry give us a wave" (he did!), and my personal favourite - "Super Barry Ashby" - a tune I now cannot hear sung about any other player without thinking of Super Baz!

Another Forest fan here... on the note of football shirts, I have never worn one at a festival, being a Forest fan is far too stressful and going to Glastonbury takes me away from that world.
