Taking Children

Don't drag Denwyn into a debate on this. We have debated this before and he has his own opinions on this which he defends well and you can't knock him for it. I believe he respects other people's decisions to take their kids and I likewise respect his opinions.

For the record though taking my (then) 7 yr old and 3 year old last year vastly contributed to it being my best ever. Think I was getting a bit tired of being wasted there all the time. Hope we get chance to do same this year

This thread fascinates me. Interesting to see the differing approaches to whether or not to take kids to festivals. Families can be very different - what would work for one woulddn't work for another. Even different children in the same families can have different approaches. My 16yo wouldn't go to Glastonbury if I paid her (she's more into Reading, Download etc), her 12 (almost 13) YO sister wouldn't miss it (says she 'feels free' at Glastonbury), nor would the next youngest, who is 10 and really into music / being outdoors. My youngest daughter (who is 6) is waiting to find out about the lineup & the weather before making a decision. If it is sunny and / or there are bands she really likes, she will be there, but if not I suspect she will stay at home.
