i guess this is the opposite of trying to find the unifying band of these boards...the specials seem to be doing the best...which is cool am so excited about seeing them this year....i guess you could also say this was a fav artist thread.

i would fight to my dying breath to vouch for the following U2, Radiohead, Joy Division, The Beatles, The Pogues, The Clash, Springsteen, Stiff Little Fingers and The Who

it is often the acts with the most feverish fans that make the best gigs, where the audience really becomes one with the act i.e faithless i 2002 ....for me anyway

What I love about music is that there are so many bands it allows you to like different ones. Wouldnt it be broring if we loved the same things?

We do get hate comments/mail/emails etc. But I ignore them all. If we appealed to everyone our schedule would be twice as packed!

Obviously I'd defend our band, but I would defend any mucisian who has even the smallest speck of talent in their hands/voice. This is essentially anyone who's brave enough to stand up on a stage and perform. 9/10 times the person insulting them would never dream of doing this themselves.
