timespeedsup
the jazzworld bit is a best-guess .... he normally plays there, tho has played elsewhere before too (somewhere in the dance village I think it was).

eFestivals
I tried to find out where Spearhead are playing, and have narrowed it down to either The Glade or Jazzworld.

Tugger2k
just had 'never too late' pop onto the pod for what seems the 1st time in years inspired me just go back and put the whole of 'everyone deserves music' on it's criminal when you forget just how good a album is and it just fades into the background of your memory - my there are some corkers on that album please let tham play in the suunshine (dont want them clashing with anyone) - my 'unmissable' acts from the TBC rumours has just gone from 3 to

Tugger2k
That would be dead nice, a 6pm slot. Or a Pyramid 2pm session. Or both Anyone watching The Wire reruns over the last few weeks? I've heard Spearhead being played as car radio music at least twice
Captain_insano
"Oh my God" is the only track I know by Michael Franti as it's on the Wire's Soundtrack Album and it's a pretty amazing track at that. Is there a particular album that it's best to start off with?

dj267
bump apparently there was some doubt as to whether this bunch of ledge-ends would play the Friday on the Jazz World or the Glade. Anyone got any more of an idea yet? The Glade, running on from The Bays/Beardyman, would be simply utterly glorious..........

dj267
Bump Right, come on people, we need to utilise oiut investigatvie skills: Franti and Spearhead are still a TBC on the Efestivals line-up page (and some TBCs, like the Lightening Seeds, have disappeared completely remember). Plus, on the Myspace of backing singer Cherine Anderson, it says that she's going to Glastonbury Festival, and then Shepheard's Bush Empire the next day, as part of her role in the Spearhead tour. http://www.myspace.com/cherineanderson Is it possible that on the Friday we'll all need to be on the look-out for a Michael Franti and Spearhead secret gig? dj267
Ok, I've been poking round for the slot that could be the secret Spearhead show: it needs to be an apporopriate venue, on the Friday Night. How about this, from Club Dada: 00.20 - 01.10 Surprise Superstar Guest - Someone amazing but we would be sacked if we told you who Could that be our boy? Fingers crossed, fingers crossed, fingers crossed......
