Tim2006
Have been reading another thread on here recently and am trying to decide which Vodka Combination sounds best. I tried fruit salads last weekend but didn't really like that one! I may even open up my own bar selling different flavoured Vodka's...I'm sure it'd be a huge success! Was thinking of the name Resolution Bar.... D'oh!
2/Z
skittles is rly nice, but i have to admit iv really taken to cherry drops, quicker easyer and less messy than skittles, i can have a batch made and rdy to drink within half hour wink.gif (top tip : smash the cherry drops up in a tea towel with a hammer for the quick version) hmm, am wondering about sherbet flavours now >< *copy/pasted from other thread
wurzel
Jelly Baby vodka rocks, just don't put in the black ones (do a seperate batch) otherwise it goes brown - still tastes great though! And don't use cola bottles instead of cola cubes - it doesn't work well. There is fatty stuff in cola bottles that makes a disgusting layer on top of the vodka and it actually makes the whole thing taste rank. Sadly this is from experience For the sadists, drop a couple of chillis in a bottle of vodka for a few weeks and then feed it to your friends. They'll never know until they take their first mouthfull.... ... it actually tastes quite nice, if you like that sort of thing.
coolethan
I will make marshmallow vodka... and then I will probably vote for it because I really like marshmallow and I really like vodka!! I might be a terrible person this year and take just plain old voddy!
Glitter+Vodka
theres 14 weekends til glasto, and 13 flavours so try out each one and see what you like best. not that u can only do them on the weekend, but the weekend is the best time for lots of vodka!! darrenbha
Feel the need to try more flavours. Cherry drops sounds great
Sam.
Hey, I'm new to the seemingly old art of combining Vodka with sweets, how excactly does this work? I want to try the skittles one, do I just crush the skittles into the vodka?
darrenbha
No need to crush them just remove the green ones. Put them in the bottle. Shake it about. Leave to settle. Drain through cloth. Leave for a while. Repeat process until left with liquid and no sediment
darrenbha
And yes. I must try all the flavours to decide before Glasto
Tim2006
Sod it! I might just go all out this weekend and make my first Chocolate one - Mars I think.
ampersand
mars would give me the boke. think only the fruity ones will work, so skittles. actually refreshers would be great. if you can do the bar rather than the tabs. Chimps in Balaclavas
I know you can get vodka jellies but if I was to substitute water with vodka when making a homemade jelly ... would it still set?

Mardy
Foam shrimp vodka could be the way forward. Me, I'll stick to it neat, or with orange juice if it's before breakfast.
2/Z
am drinking blackjack vodka right now, was a pain to make though. the filtering phase couldnt be done the same as skittles vod, due to the skum layer actually bein more of the consistancy of the head on a pint of guiness. basicallly had to pour the lot into a jug, let it settle, then skim the top off with my filter material tastes nice though
