Glastonbury food with pictures

I love this thread! My tip: there was a place next to John Peel last year that did a cup of hot porridge for £1, and you could get stuff like cinnamon, raisins, brown sugar, salt, honey and anything else people eat with porridge mixed in for an extra 30p. It was fantastic, and far usurped the dodgy looking bacon sandwiches my companions got! Get 2 cups for maximum carbohydrate energy!

Just for you, Mike, I took photos of most of the food I had over the weekend. I had tartiflette a few times but only took a picture of the first. My mates think I'm weird for taking photos of my food.

A burger from Arnold's Alfresco. Tastes much, much nicer than it looks. :)

A Welsh Oggie from near the Other Stage. Not nice -- too greasy, the pastry was flaky and it had that burnt taste like it had been sitting around for a while.

A Growler. Not too bad going down but the greasy feeling stayed with me for the rest of the day. I won't be going back. :(

Tartiflette from La Grande Bouffe. I could live on these things. The sausage was delicious but I could still taste it a few hours later. I guess there are worse tastes to have in your mouth. :D

Pad Thai and a spring roll from Katie's Thai Kitchen (the one that says 'Taste of Thailand' between the Other Stage and Pyramid). Very tasty but a bit too small. :D

The Goan Fish Curry stall on West Holts (still want to call it Jazz World) was superb and I think I spotted it on the coverage of V this year! Took me right back. It's not like the pungent, strong taste of takeaways (although they too are marvelous), more delicate and flavoursome, they don't blow your head (or any other parts) off!

Some of the scrumptiousness of this year!!

First night, workers tent - curry! This stuff was just...amazing. On a Wednesday after spending over 12 hours travelling from leaving the house to getting tent installed, this tasted like heaven.

Thursday morning breakfast (With a cider, of course!) Unfortunatly, potato tasted like smash. :(. Not the good type of smash either.

And finally, the Manic Organic absouloutley amazing baguette - I suggest everyone tries it at least once!

Of course a lot of cider/chai/lemonade/noodles/cider/vodka was also consumed, but there is a lack of photographic material of all that... unsurprisingly.

Sorry about size of post, cant get to resize! If mods or anyone feels the need to downsize, go right ahead :)

We went to Malinkeys, nice food there, bit odd eating proper meal but was good all the same.

best food I had all week was a bean burger with hummus and salad from a veggie place on the opposite side to Manic Organic - made me hit the long drops a bit but was worth it :D
