The massive welsh oggies think it was between pyramid and other stage?

£5 I reckon, best value meal on site imho.

Beware, there's a pretender Welsh Oggie elsewhere, or so the real ^^ Welsh Oggie man told me.

If we can find out where it is!

I'm worrying it may not be as good as it sounds or someone would surely know?

I really like Spanish food but haven't tried paella yet as most places serve the seafood version and I'm not a fan of most seafood so here's my chance to pop my paella cherry!

The Paella Stand is behind the big top... well thats where it was in 2010
I can attach a pic with an X on the map if someone teaches me how to add pics

My friend, you must be extremely drunk (at 10:39am I note) or £7 is indeed measly to you if you think that sausage (that's sausage, not sausages, and not a particularly big sausage at that) plus what is basically chips that have been sliced a bit differently (and not much of them either) is worth said £7.

I'll summarise that:

Sausage (x1) and Chips - £7

I've never really got this stall.

Make it two sausages and I might consider it.

But saying that, I may just have to prove/disprove my theory by actually trying one this year.

But I'm gonna haggle for two sausages.

:)

Oh. In a field in the middle of nowhere you say.

:roulette:

this grinds my gears!

those aren't some awful pork byproduct with bread paste like the "richmond's" sausages that apparently 'taste of home'??? they're fabulous solid meat just gurning with flavour from being cooked in the wine and shallots - that's sauce there, the stuff you scrape off your steak and it is awesome

and the tartiflette potatoes are to chips what the space shuttle is to the last time you spat something out - wonderfully herby and cheesy with just the right amount of onion and then a little shower in tasty pork/wine gravy

it's rather like sayinig why ever buy a proper steak restaurant steak+chips - basically a Saver Menu McBurger and chips innit?

Jeez, lighten up. Did I just spill your dinner

It's saying the portions are tiny and possibly not worth £7 IMNVHO is what it's saying. That they are possibly dressing up a Saver Mcburger and chips as a proper steak restaurant steak & chips.

It's sausage, chips & gravy (or is that sauce? You can't seem to decide). Dressing it up in fancy Marks & Spencer food porn nonsense doesn't change that.

If you're on a budget you can do miles better I reckon.

Not having tried one I couldn't possibly comment on the meatiness or not of said sausage. At the end of the day it is still just a (tiny) sausage.

Damn, I'm going to have to try one this year now aren't I :) Still gonna haggle though. And I will still think the portions are too small even if it tastes like the food of gods.

Oh, and I won't be scraping the gravy sauce off.

Nice analogies by the way.

Ach I'm only being silly, not about to get upset at someone about that and you're definitely right you can do better on a budget but out earns the flowery language by being yummy

It's all subjective tho, had one mate only eat the pasta and garlic bread from west holts all festival - too many tasty strange things for that by far. It's all slightly dear, but beats a five quid hog roast took being the pinnacle of flavour

Couldn't agree more, What is this mystical love for a rip-off meal that charges ridiculous sums of money for a bowl of buttery potatoes and *gosh* one sausage? Bastards.
