MrZigster
Holy fuck. I'd eat all that savoury food. Twice over. The sweet stuff looks too sickly though. Hey Michael. I've got a great idea for a food stall: It's like two KFC deep fried chicken fillets, drizzled with honey, topped with a fried egg, all sandwiched between what can only be described as some kind of cross between a scone and a biscuit. (I would have just copy/pasted the picture but failed).

tom22
Had these on way back to the tent a couple of times last year. Believe they were called Strumpets with Crumpets. Run by some women dressed up like strippers, serving delicious crumpets with nice things on them like chocolate + marshmallows. Somewhere down by the Park I believe. Gwladboy
The Potato, Chickpea and coconut curry at Manic Organic is a bit pricey (£7), but you get loads and it's delicious. I had 3 last year and plan on heading back this year - all washed down with some Brothers - luverly! This. The sheer weight of the plate as you carry it off makes the £7 seem like money well spent. Definitely heading back this year.
The Nal
I'm hoping we see prices stay the same this year. Some very pricey new stalls last year.

Ah the park is where they got to then?! I was looking for them! In 2010/2011 when they had the Bourbon Street bar opposite it (nearish Williams Green?) was great. I'd have them and try different Bourbon every morning! Edited April 22, 2015 by LondonTom

Sawdusty surfer
Haven't got a photo, but my favourite food on site is the Creole food from Yam The Cassava. Absolutely delicious, served on proper plates and excellent value.

Ta I believe this is what you are after, probably the best meal I had last year. The Tibetan Kitchen near the Pyramid is a close second. stuartbert two hats
Piggie Smalls come up here for one of those trendy street food events that are popping up all over the shop these days. They were at the 6 music festival, fantastic scran. Is there any burger places worth a look in? Obvs the gourmet burger trend has been done to death but I'd be reluctant to get one at Glasto as any 'shit in a tray' merchant can stick the word gourmet on their sign and stick £3 on the price of their frozen Birds Eye effort. I had an excellent 'dirty burger' somewhere in Arcadia last year. Highly recommended!
frostypaw
I've lost nearly 2 stone since January 1st. I'm definitely putting it all back on in late June, aren't I?!You won't if you're active at the festival - it's a Lot of exercise trekking around that site, dancing and standing all day.You can pig a bit and not feel bad - at worst stay up and dance a bit longer! I'm hoping we see prices stay the same this year. Some very pricey new stalls last year.Too right - I had a bit of a rule by saturday to avoid any stalls that looked like they usually set up in hip London - cool names, slick signage... online ad campaigns... I'm looking squarely at the likes of that Meat-liquor and Beat Hotel related nonsense who sold themselves high as heaven and priced likewise for what was distinctly sub-par at Glastonbury. Stunned canary wharf I'm sure.
yellowsnow
What was the name of the Afternoon Tea place (I think...) that you have to book before the festival? Or was it a restaurant?
Festiboi69
Haven't got any pics of just food as I use disposables and so take pics sparingly, but here's one of me and a great value plate of nachos from The Park, 4 or 5 quid I think... Alcatraz
Right folks, a bit of help. Where exactly is Yam the Cassava, because I'm taking a map with it dotted on this year. It's been 3 years since I last had it, despite trying on a couple of occasions this year (i actually found it, it was very early morning and closed, then subsuquently forgot where it was) I know it's in that maze of alleys that all look the same when you don't spend much time down there, but if anyone knows its exact location, I will be eternally grateful
