Bubble and squeak stall with poached egg and chilli beans or strumpets with crumpets both at bottom of park. Especially the former.

Chorizo spinach fried potatoes beans and egg from tapas place near west hour.

Yes! I was going to suggest the Bubble and Squeak stall, one of the places I have tried to visit at least once the last couple of years.

You make it sound as if Trump is your man and you hate the EU!

Alas! I've been outed at last....

Clearly I was pointing out the folly of placing too much trust in predictions. Especially 6 bloody months in advance. @The Nal is just a meteorological misery guts.

It's got to come good this year.  In 2016, every time things were on a knife edge, they turned to disaster.  Every fucking time.

I'm taking a different approach this year.  I'm just going to drink my way through it.

Forecasters already predicting another washout I'm afraid.

Seriously how can anyone claim to know what rain there will be on a specific day 5 months from now?

Besides it will be glorious sunshine all weekend and for a week before, with a gentle brief shower on the Tuesday to keep the dust at bay

blue soup company not going to be there again sadly, emailed them this is the reply I got.

Ah what a lovely email to receive!  For comments like that it would be worth it again but unfortunately it just isn't viable for us which is such a shame - we had 13 great years there!

Hope you've got your tickets....!!

Will have to find something else to fill up on while staggering back from se corner etc :P

Same reason people buy boil in the bag rice, Pot Noodles and microwaveable curries I suppose, convenience.

Can I just say, cold porridge does not sound appealing in the slightest.

Yeah, those suck too.

It's not cold porridge, it's oats and fruit etc, so muesli basically.

Ahh my bad. Although I guess my point still sort of stands. Muesli with just water? Not for me. Get some fresh milk on that and I could see it being a good Glastonbury breakfast.

They were early morning or early evening for me. That blue cheese soup with broccoli was off the hook.

We had some lovely soup last year at a place just up from Manic Organic, it was early evening on Sunday and we were feeling pretty broken, felt so much better after, set us up for the party at EW&F, amazing what a bit of soup can do.
Charm x

Think this is it.

  • 1 month later...

Been salivating at this thread and made note of 16 places I'd like to get to this year!

Pushing an all terrain buggy around last year made some of the off the beaten track places impossible, hoping for better this year for food an musical reasons!

So last week was Foos, this week is Food! :P
