Sorry I can't go back through all of this thread but the three places we always visit at Glasto are No Bones Jones, La Grande Bouffe for a Tartiflette and the Indian Veggie Curry stall run by Suiresh and his family on the bridge.

Can't believe how excited I get when this thread pops up. Just seen Nal's Buzzfeed link from back in October. Unbelievable. Here it is if anyone hasn't seen it: https://www.buzzfeed.com/scottybryan/the-food-at-glastonbury-this-year-looks-amazing?utm_term=.ujvEYJ1RV#.guNWXZbEd

It makes me wish there were more days so I could sample a boat load! Does anyone know where The Soulful Food Company, Cheese Truck and Fish Finger Heaven is please??

I'm dedicating Thursday to a serious smoke and food exploration day :D

Is that so? Bugger! Was a great hangover cure last year. As long as the massive yoirkshire pudding stall is back near the pyramid I'll be happy.

Been salivating at this thread and made note of 16 places I'd like to get to this year!

Pushing an all terrain buggy around last year made some of the off the beaten track places impossible, hoping for better this year for food an musical reasons!

So last week was Foos, this week is Food! :P

So that's three a day and one for luck.

One thing the Mrs and I started doing a bit ago was to go halves on meals, so you get to try twice as many places

Works for us as we both like a wide range of food : )

This is what I want to do at the festival, especially because when drunk or hungover I get bored of what I'm eating quickly, but the other half doesn't like sharing his food so it's more like we go halves on my meals and not on his. He's a fucking pig really.

Deep fried frozen chips from Lidl, a 5p frozen roll defrosted topped with low end catering cheese.

Thank fuck its gone. More room for something good.

I reckon a gourmet Growler could be pretty good:

  • Sourdough bread.
  • Triple cooked chips.
  • Kerrygold butter on the bread (lots of it).
  • Dry Cured bacon.
  • Mix of cheese, say Stilton, brie and cheddar.
  • Dijon mustard.
  • Some decent quality mayo, at least Hellman's.
  • Freshly ground black pepper.

I really want the south indian street food by the meeting point, the stupendous burger place at the top of the park and the top notch pizza place in glebeland. Greedy.

Stupid question - what's the/where is the meeting point? I too need the Indian Street Food, in my face, lots of it.

There are Indian Street Food places all over the site - but the place actually called that is up by the entrance to West Holts as you walk down from the railway track.
