Feel good glastonbury clips

I've done a few vids myself from 2004 and 2007, here are a couple of the 2004 ones that are not professionally done (clearly) but are pretty good for feel-good factor.

First one is a mishmash of audience-view of the Chemical Brothers' blinding set in 2004, the anticipation leading up to the beginning of "Hey Boy Hey Girl" was almost too much to take, and when it finally dropped.... holy mother of pearl:

I have loved the killers every time i have seen them live!!! That includes wen ever they have played Glastonbury, whenever they have played reading and whenever ive seen them on tour!!! One of the best live acts around!

sorry but you obviously havent seen any legendary live performers like Bruce Springsteen for example. Killers are terrible live, his voice is shit.

Sorry, if this sounds harsh

That Faithless performance, was actually legendary,

People say they want them back, because of how good that performance was,

But it wasn't just the fact that they were there that made that SO good,

Its the faces Maxi and the others pull, every nuance of his voice, the things he says, the way they all moved, the lights, the way the wind was blowing

EVERYTHING contributes to a performance like that, and you can't recapture it, so as much as i'd love them to be there, its never going to top that.

Was there in 2002. Absolutely brilliant performance and crowd !

Total Glastonbury Moment :P

Wish Faithless were playing this year too (in spite of remote likelyhood of repeating legendary 02 performance).

Anyway now for something completely different...

totally agree with 90% of that, it was an amazing moment in place and time

but, it might never top that (and the 4 or 5 times ive seen them since hasnt) but it would get mighty close. that band can IMO simply do no wrong live. everytime i see them they take me to another place

so for that, i'd want them back (although what stage and when they'd play is for another discussion)

one of the happiest glasto moments ever: FACT

Here's a 10 minute amateur 2008 Glasto documentary...

Here is Hicky's and Coz's Glastonbury 2008 experience! IT IS SO FUNNY! It starts off with the road to the festival and then videos from the festival. We manage to catch up with Celebs (The Wombats,...

That clip has more feel good factor than a more feel good fact-ory!!!

Its just a simple moment but it looks incredible :O it also looks like some sort of scene out of a film but really its just totaly unscripted festival goodness :D .

Here`s another thing someone may be able to confirm about that vid, the dude jumping about the middle pretending to play the guitar. I am 99% positive he`s the Julian Temple DVD doing the same sort of swag to a different tune B) ??? Anyone know what im on about ;) ??

I have to admit that the idiot doing the air guitar (using a mud scraper!) is me - I had no idea I was being filmed at the time. Someone linked to it last year in another thread on this forum which is how I discovered it. There was a clip in Julian Temple's film of me doing something similar to Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Make me smile - the first I knew about it was when we were watching it in a Cinema in Oxford and the clip came on. We all jumped up and down yelping - to the amazement of the rest of the cinema.

While I'm on, did anyone take a picture of my mate James who sat impassively for an hour at the top of the Pyramid stage last year when Manu Chao was on. He was wearing a full Burka with sunglasses on the outside. It was hilarious!
