Jack has a new ''super''band which he seems to be foccussing on check them out, they might be worth a rumor, if so i know i'll be having a look

Its weird, The White Stripes are down as a strong rumour and everyone assumes they wont play, Coldplay are only a rumour and we all be suprised if they aren't the 4th headliner

i disagree. i dont go to see them for jack white. white stripes are brilliant as are raconteurs. im sure the new band he has are good too and even if he is drumming he will have a part to play in the whole music

as i have said on here before been a White Stripes fan it is fantastic to see Jack release new and exciting music every year.

I was slightly disapointed by the big annoucement being about the dead weather rather than stripes but at least he is creating different music all the time instead of wearing one band out fast. Maybe by having these other bands it will help preserve the stripes until Jack and Meg are really old, rather than burning it out fast.

Give Elephant or White Blood Cells a listen, the earlier stuff; and IMO better than doorbell and etc

Yeah, Elephant wouldn't be considered early era White Stripes...that was their breakthrough album. I personally prefer De Stijl.

First 2 albums have there moments, but the 3 albums after that are all equally excellent for me.
