I could never claim to be a fan, but he absolutely blew me away at V Chelmsford last year - won over the entire crowd, got us chanting his name, came across as an utter hero, which was great as he's only got about 3 and a half songs.

Last time he played Glastojbury he spent more of his set getting the crown to chant his name than he did playing songs which was a shame, because when he got down to playing the music he was really good

Yeah that would be good. Although I think he's kinda lost it nowadays - was definitely better in his heyday. My mates went to see in the late 80's early 90's and by all accounts he was amazing!

I've regretted it ever since, as loved his 1st album.

Can't be doing with all that chanting malarkey - just get on with it and sing a damn good song!
