Over the years, what things have changed the festival for good or ill?

For me its:

Camp Chairs - We used to build our own furniture out of fire wood, I miss that!

Mobile phones - Anyone remember the message bins and walls?

Police presence - Ohhh! Heady times we had before old porky showed his face.

What things have changed the festival for you?

Well that big fence for a start... I must say that despite the trouble that went on the atmosphere was far more up more my street back then, at least until last year, which to me was the first time it's felt like Glastonbury since it went up. High hopes for this year!

On the plus side, I feel a lot safer, and don't have to worry so much about my tent being nicked.

Also the Glade, I knew it had been there a while, but I only really discovered properly in 2007 when the Ozrics played and it was fantastic.
