I swear this time last year we had maybe 10 more big bands strongly rumoured..

Afraid to say it but if the lineup doesnt leak tomorrow id imagine we wont hear anything until monday when nme/punktastic leak it. You'd think reading would deliberately leak it so people decide if they want a ticket or not?

They don't need to build themselves hype. The day Reading Festival doesn't sell out in the first 30 minutes let alone the first day is when we all know that the world is on the verge of hell freezing over. Reading Festival isn't just about the music, people don't just go to see bands, to a lot of people, they go just to have a great weekend out with their friends on the best weekend of the year! The band's are just a bonus!

I'm just nervous about the ticket rush. I work in ATC and my holidays are fixed, no negotiation. This IS my weekend off in July/August.

its a bit rubbish how the bands are announced the same time as the tickets go on sale there should be an hour from band announcement till tickets go on sale.

I've kinda taken it for granted that Radiohead will play, I dread to think who would be there instead if it turned out they didn't. I want the line up to be great and if Radiohead play then an aspect of it will be. I don't want to feel like I did last year when the line up was made where hardly any bands excited me and was thinking my Reading festival days are numbered as the line up is mainly for kids.

Even if the headline picks aren't up to scratch, there will always be a larger selection of less-popular and unsigned bands to choose from on the undercard. For me it's Flobots and Frank Turner that have convinced me to go.

If they build it we will come.
