thetime
been to reading leg many times and the leeds leg 3 times. changed from reading to leeds a few years ago due to in my opinion the atmosphere was going downhill and teenagers causing more and more trouble. friend had been to leeds and was praising how much better the atmosphere was at leeds, and I find it alot better than reading. but this year im thinking of returning to reading, but we will c. so in my opinion leeds is much better, but reading has the tradition. jammy2211
I went Leeds 05, been Reading ever since. Not alot of difference, Reading is great as you can walk to tesco. However the lack of early entry tickets this year could become a piss take.

Lithium05
Reading.... But that's mainly because it only takes 40 minutes to get there
Benj
Can't really comment as I've never been to Leeds, I'd advise like Lithium suggests, to go to whichever is easiest/ cheapest (depending on which is more important to you) to get to. The only clear advantage you can really give, having not been to each festival a few times to properly compare, is the vicinity of all the amenities of Reading right on your tentflap step, I had a lovely massive lunch at Chilli's last year on the Sunday, awesome stuff!! (http://www.chilis.uk.com/index.html) mmmmmmmmhmmmm Edited March 29, 2009 by Benj

TheOneCurlyFry
Leeds is significantly closer for me so its a simple choice. If i had equal distance to travel im not sure which i'd choose, whichever one my friends go to i guess lol.
Bradders
I love the fact Leeds is far away from stuff. I can't imagine going out to Nando's in he middle of a festival. I like being away from civilization. Edited March 29, 2009 by Bradders
