David Gilmour?

I feel this would be the perfect inclusion, he was snubbed last year by Eavis as there supposedly wasn't enough space on the bill as David Gilmour requested to play to late. Anybody remember hearing about this?

My first Glasto this year its going to be the highlight of pretty much my life I expect ;)

As much as i would love to see Pink Floyd at Glasto...Its never going to happen...Gilmore and Walters on the same stage...Get Real....Live 8 was a one off......plus we have lost Rick Wright....Unless that is you want a Tribute band........

There's absolutely no chance of Gilmour and Waters teaming up again, now with Wright gone....

Gilmour on his own however is possible I think; 'on an island' sold pretty well, and I guess he could want to promote "live at gdansk" released end of last year.

I don't think it's definite that he would require to be headliner, but I think it'd depend on whether it was an personal ambition to play himself, or whether he just asked as Wright wanted to do it...I kinda felt it was the latter....would also depend a bit on whether he was offended they said no aswell, or understood why that decision was made.

The 2006 show at the royal albert hall is still the best live performance I've seen; and short of Mason was pretty much the post-Waters live setup they used for the Division Bell tour; Gilmour with Wright on keys, Dick Parry on Sax, Guy Pratt on bass, Jon Carin on keys/guitar, etc.

Add to that David Crosby and Graham Nash on backing Vocals & Bowie coming on for the encore to do arnold layne and comfortably numb, and it was truly something special.

I actually feel quite privileged to have seen Gilmour and Wright play "echoes" that night...a song that Gilmour stated will never played live again since Wright's passing; As I said, to me, it was the best live performance I've seen, with this the highlight.
