Who Would You Have As Headliners?

That wasn't what the original post asked however, it was who would you have to to try and keep more people happy?

Something like The Strokes, U2 and Oasis I think would keep more people happy.

Although for me I personally would like to see Daft Punk, Kasabian and Muse.

My choice would probably be:

Faith No More

Kanye West

Daft Punk or Orbital

I'm still hoping that any of the above will play somewhere at glastonbury, and I know that FNM is a long shot.

tbf as has been said many times before there is so much more to glastonbury than the headliners, it is probably the only festival in the world where who the headliners makes no difference. I only saw jay-z out of last years headliners, and Im probably only going to go and see Blur if there is nothing else on at other stage/dance village (mainly as Im seeing them in hyde park later on).

bowie

jesus and mary chain

sonic youth

mainly because i haven't seen any of them - the mary chain and sonic youth wouldn't actually be good pyramid headlining material by any stretch of the imagination.

actually balls to that, i'm quite happy how it is (with one small adjustment)

neil young

blur

bowie

Friday - Faithless

Saturday - Muse

Sunday - Radiohead

Although if they were the headliners I'd die of happiness and never experience anything else of what life has to offer.

no no no....you could have Manics...someone else (like pink floyd maybe) and then Peter Gabriel fronting Genesis ending with 'afterglow' - 'white mountain' and ' suppers ready' -

nb do any older festival goers remember random people shouting out 'suppers ready' heckles at gigs between songs in various gigs in the 70's and 80's
