Early Bird Entry Tickets

Hey...I bought a Ticket + Early Entry last year in the early bird sales, but ive just realised I am the only one who managed to get one! Last year most people just paid on the door and were allowed it but I am sure I read somewhere this year saying the organisers were going to clamp down on people getting in early without an official ticket.

What do you reckon? will most people still get in on wednesday?

Reading have f**ked up massively here.

Everyone will get in fine. There is no way the festival will allow the thousands of folk who turn up to hang around outside the festival or Reading town centre overnight.

If they dont let me in im gonna pitch me tent in Reading town centre and get drunk there. That'll learn em.

it's ridiculous! I bought mine last year in pre-sale and now none of my friends have been able to get them.

Paul's right. If FR think the arrangements for early entry are wrong, they can make a strong case to the police and/or the council to change the arrangement. But they can't take the decision on their own.

Hopefully common sense will prevail, but having seen the lineup, don't take this for granted.

So I read on here about them applying for an extended license for Early Entry tickets (Someone got it off Twitter?) and we'll hear about it later. Any news on this? Will be gutted if I have to go up on the Thursday and not get that extra day .

Last year i failed to get an Early entry pass. A few weeks later they were back on the site
