This will infact be my very first Reading festival, i hear that on Sundays it gets a bit mad! What happens, is this an over exaggeration or what?

Its usually either younger cool kids, or the other booze driven pillars of society, you know the ones

Plus they've banned all forms of gas canisters this year too which in my opinion is a good thing (because of the idiots)... I don't think it will be bad this year actually!

you'd think if it was the drug/alcohol every day would be a riot for them maybe the lingering two days worth of hangovers pushes them over the edge.

Im reading through the replies and all i can think is "How the hell am i going to cook my hunger breaks All Day Breakfast?!?"

Oh, and how will they police the gas canisters? Just like walk round during the days confiscating them?

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Will have to keep my eye out for a stove without gas then... Infact i have just the thing! Hexamine Cooker . Bit messy and a pain in the arse but will do the job. I will have to try and steel a load from work!

does the early bird ticket get you in on wednesday? wow i thought it would have been thursday.

Yeah its something like 2pm on Wednesday, Although there was talk of that changing to thursday last year. However i think that was just a rumour.

It does state somewhere that the camp will not be open until Thursday but it also says on the itinery for the Early entry that its 2-3pm Wednesday.

Hexamine is the saviour.

Also, what riots there are no such things as reading riots on the sunday so there is no need to tell anyone about them, normally on the sunday everyone just has a big tea party and talk to the bands.

The above may be lies but prevents the legacy of the riots spreading. It is in everyones interest to lie so start here!!

everyone goes on the thrusday, so would be pointless having an earybird ticket the same day everyone else goes lol

It will most probley be voulentary Bag Search once again, and even if you do get your bag searched they are far from a full on search.

Yer, at least it will stop some people taking them, you know the ones, the ones that crap themselves when the metal detactor goes off at the airport.

This will mean that there will be less lieing around for others to pick up i guess.
