blink 182 and greenday for 2010

Like I say, I think it's unlikely. They've barley announced any tour dates as it is, gives me the impression that it's a one off. Do a few summer gigs, some shows in Europe, some shows in America, maybe a couple in Japan, a UK arena tour. Finish.

It just seems to me that they're very reluctant to actually tour at the moment.

Of course it does - an English festival wanting to book an American headliner is going to have to have to pay more to secure them.

I've got nothing against either band, but if BOTH were headlining that would make this year look legendary in comparison.

Would be surprised if Green day don't headline next year - it will have been 6 years since they last did (my first Leeds woo!). Kasabian would be a good bet if the new album doesn't flop. Linkin Park always gonna be in with a shot, and yeah maybe The Strokes (perhaps only manage second from top)

I really don't think Blur are going to be touring next summer - Damon will go back to Gorillaz, Graham will go back to doing solo stuff, Alex will want to be farming again and Dave will be pumping the election campaign, I believe it's highly unlikely.

I'd also say that until the pound is fareing better against the Euro and the US Dollar, I'd expect the 'big' headliners to be English. Muse, Franz Ferdinand & The Strokes maybe. Green Day & Blink will come too expensive I believe.

Don't personally reckon Kasabian will headline at all - you seen the venues they're playing this tour compared to the last one? (Well, last tour they played Nottingham Arena, this time around they're playing Rock City...) I know Tom's ego has stopped them from playing festivals in the last couple of years, but I think that will bother them as much now.

Has any one heard Green Day's new single yet? It's available for download on itunes tomorrow and there's a 90sec preview on their official site and myspace. I'm so excited for this new album that it can't be expressed in words

I heard the preview of the new Green Day song. Its awful. Why people would want the band Green Day have become to headline baffles me. But each to thier own, think they are a dead cert for next year and not played for a while.

muse i've seen about 4 times....they are good live but i don't like them if you know what i mean???

blur....meh....i think they're ok.

greenday i've seen about 3 times.....although pretty good i can't say id be too excited about seeing them again. i loved them when i was about 16 but can take them or leave them these days.

i prefer this years line up!!!!!
