Does anybody know what day the Dance Arena will be running?

My fingers are crossed for Saturday, to provide a welcome distraction from Arctics, Gossip and Glasvegas, but with Prodigy playing main stage, I don't know how likely that is...

Well it's normally Reading Sunday, so the same day as Radiohead, probably so there aren't two metal bands competing. However this doesn't seem to be the case this year so it's possible to change.

Hoping for dance stage on the sunday as that's the only day with a mainstage headliner I want to see and people keep banging on about Rancid being possible Lockup headliners. However I reckon the above bets are probably true of dance tent on friday, darnit.

i hope its the friday (kings day) at reading.

i cant see it being the saturday cos of prodigy, and i hope its not the sunday cos of how good the main stage is that day

I reckon it'll be the KoL day for reasons stated above. It also lends to my theory AFI and Lostprophets (Lock up style bands) will do R1 on that day.

Really curious about the lock up, I reckon Rise Against are mainstage so we really have no solid rumours for bands. Really hoping for Thursday, Finch and Rival Schools but the lock up always seems to disappoint me...

Personally I'd like some dubstep and could see it happening now nme seems to be jumping on that bandwagon.

I'd love to get Justice but that won't happen.

I'd go for Soulwax and Erol Alkan like 2006.

Why are people's hopes so low for Justice? Would love to see them there, or Soulwax/2manydjs.

And on the subject, does anyone know how long the dance tent is expected to run till? Same time as Main Stage, or later into the night?

I hope it's on the Radiohead day!

If radiohead, weezer and rancid were to clash i'd cry! N wouldn't go back to leeds fest until they got better organisers!

But tbh it's looking like the one main stage headliner I wanna see is gunna clash while the other 2 nights I'll be bored...
