I have had a look at the line-up and even though we have no times as yet we have a pretty good idea on who is playing on Thursday night. The last acts of the night are:

Dance Lounge = Altern 8

Pussy Parlure = Annie Nightingale

Silent Disco = The Kleptones (not sure this one is a good idea)

The Snug = Streetlife DJ's

Guardian Lounge = Cosmic Disco

Queens Head = Smash n Grab

Or we could just head over to Shangri-La/Trash City

I am now going to open the floor to all you lovely peeps! Does anybody have any preferences or recommendations (I've only heard of Altern 8 and Annie Nightingale B) ) on where we should all head off to?

Yep 2 meeting points.

1) Obviously Cider Bus early eve until ??? Did someone say 9pm we move on??

2) Trash City late night sometime after midnight

I doubt it will be a lot - I can't even remember having to purchase a 'tache last time. I should be around at the Cider Bus meet but if for some reason I get dragged elsewhere I'd meet up at Downlow later - so really like this idea!

So it seems everybody is happy for the meet to go onto Downlow straight from the Cider Bus. This is absolutely dandy with me! I rckon we head up there between 10 and 11 ish. Everybody happy with this?

The 'payment' to get into downlow in the past has been £2.00 for a fake tache that goes to charideeee (as others have said). If you are happy with this then may I suggest you go and get one before the thursday night, ideally in the daytime because the Q to get in at night is horrid if you don't have one! You pretty much walk straight in if you are already wearing one.

If you are not happy with this arrangement then I have no doubts some folks will be wanting to go to Shangri-La, I know i'll probably be there at some point. Either way we will have a laugh at the Cider Bus!

Oh and to those that don't know me I look like Peppermint Patty from Snoopy (google it!) and i'll be wearing a cowboy hat with the pride colours on it - feel free to come up and say hi!

Was just looking through Glastonav on the mobile and it only give opening times for NYC Downlow for the Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Was it open on the Thursday last year?

What did I do Thursday ! , when I should be at the meet ?

Saw Maximo , met a lovely couple , Chris and Rachel from Liverpool , went back to our 12 man

tent , got wrecked on Mickey Finns and god knows what else , the rain and thunder came and

after the smokes could not be moved from my chair.

When I finally got myself into gear , it was about 11.00 ish and ended up in Jazz World, for a bit

of a dance.

Myself and a friend were the last people to leave the new " Departure Lounge " cafe at around

6.00 am Friday morning.

Lost Thursday again !

A number of us arrived circa 8pm. Then the storms broke, it lashed down, I got lost in diving undercover, and I ended up spening an enjoyable evening in Cafe Avalon with Mad Dog & Hobo Jones. :rolleyes:

Heard others got to Altern8 but as above Trash City wasn't open.
