Brilliant, Wickedfaerie, getting very excited now. It was the flagpoles picture that really got me! :P

And I'm amazed that you can tell where abouts on-site you are before everything's built like how we're used to seeing it.

I live nearby; not quite next door. To get in, I just climbed the fence :) though I don't think that technique will work for much longer! Actually there is a public footpath through a small part of the site and plenty of places where you can just walk in.

Thanks for posting the photo's Wickedfaerie - nice to see the Glasto site in 2009. :)

Strange looking at the empty fields and shell of the Pyramid stage and to think of all the world famous performers who have played there together with the vast accompanying crowds - it's a bit surreal ! :)

Thanks Wickedfaerie :)

- The 'new' building next to the Kidz Field is the 2008 rebuild of Goose Hall, which does catering for build & event crew. It was there last year. A few years earlier it was an 'old' building plus thatch. Then the thatch got swapped for metal. Then the building itself got redone. You will see a "Goose Hall 2008" carving in the stone now.

- The circular structure next to it appears to be a more permanent version of the marquee used as eating space for Goose Hall. I'd heard about this going up about a month ago, but not seen any pics.

- William: The Sam's Magic Hat sign is left over from last year... I recognise the marker pen annotations!

I. Need. To. Get. A. Life. :)

Great pics. Thanks

Me and a mate always make an annual trip down to the site for a sunday afternoon walk around in late april/early May. We live in nearby Midsomer Norton. Its really wierd being there when its so empty! Seems so small

Most interesting, especially the notice to expand the campervan field in the east and add one on the west. The creation of more gates is also of interest but it does not say wether is just on to the site ie easier access off the site on Monday or to keep pedestrians and vehicles away from each other at the super fence. I cannot see where vehicles and pedestrians meet since moving the pedestrian gate D so hopefully happier Mondays. Many thanks for the photos
