clashes galore

ive just realised that my (potential) free tickets to rock werchter mean that i now have a massive potential clash with blur on the sunday

i had been bimbling along in the knowledge that id catch blur @ hyde park so i could happliy miss them @ the big G

but now, if i go to RW, i have to face the fact that doves are going to clash with one of the pyramid headliners, and i have an awful feeling that spearhead and kasabian are going to do the same

f**k you eavis, you couldnt have made this sort of line up clash last year could you, oh no, you had to wait till i came crawling back on my hands and knee's and not only be pleased to be back, but put almost unanswerable questions in front of me

i have to say tho, i wouldnt get these sort of questions anywhere else, so as bad as it feels, its good to be back

You get clashes even if you only go to Glasto. I dream of the festival running for a second week with the same line up so that I can go round a second time and catch all the people I wasn't able to fit in first time round.

You missed last year? Despite not so good headliners it was one of the best. My personal clashes were Jay Z or anything else, Amy Carcrash or Buddy Guy. Anything else (Massive Attack) and Buddy won out.

The danger for me, would be that I'd go back and see some of the same people again for the second week, despite them clashing - Buddy Guy being a case in point.

yeah, me and a lot of the people i normally go with just got mud fatigue so skipped it. twas good, got to do a few things i wouldnt normally

and last year would have a been a piece of cake. one of the most iconic, important acts of the last 20 years that helped form a musical movement - or a novelty rapper? thats no choice at all

blur will clash with echo and the bunnymen on the JP stage, Kanye West on the other stage and pete doherty on the park. I have foreseen it.
