hi all, this will be my 6th glasto and ive found over the last 3 times ive been, the line up is getting worse and worse and with emily saying it was going to be a momentous glastonbury this year i didnt expect to see a load of has beens headlining the main stage. what happened to muse, the killers, oasis even paul mc cartney was worthy but bruce springsteen and Neil Young? i know they say its not all about the music and agree but alot of it is the music.

i think next year my money would be better spent at the likes of v-festival, leeds, reading.

im not just having a moan and im sure i cant be the only one that thinks that for the £175 per ticket they should be doing better for the fans.

please tell me that its not just me that feels this way and maybe post ya dream line up.

Oh, haven't we established yet that Glastonbury isn't about the headliners? Honestly I thought in 9 pages it would have come up.

I may, on occasion, get a bit miffed that someone I fancy seeing isn't on the lineup but that's no ones fault but my own. I use festivals as a way to see things old and new. Glasto is peculiar in that the lineup is, for most, secondary. You can't, however, blame people for having a debate about it when they have been invited to.

If you don't like the thread don't post, or do post that you don't like it. The choice is yours. Or you could ask Neil to remove the thread for being UN GLASTO, he may just co-operate. Personally I'd rather have a thread like this which is actually about Glastonbury as apposed to what kind of clothes I have to wear to work or being excited because it's a day of the week ending in Y. I choose not to post on those threads.

I will, however be forever curious as to the whereabouts of the Bi-curious meet now that that thread has curiously vanished! At my time of life, well, it's like my Mum used to say- 'Grandad, you may as well, as wish that you had done!'

For my personal tastes, Blur, Springsteen and Young certainly isn't as exciting as R.E.M., Radiohead and Moby or even Oasis, Paul McCartney and Muse, but the dance village is looking absolutely epic this year and has got me very excited.

i have never watched all headliners in one year

2007 i never saw any of the three headliners on the pyramid

if you dont like any music then dont go to glasto

there is always something to suit everyones taste even if its not on the pyramid
