Their albums are crap and I fully expect the next one to be crap. They also are a big ripoff of Primal Scream.

BUT

They are a top quality live band. Lively and energetic, with a few crowd-pleasing hits.

Perfect replacement for whoever the original booking was going to be.

Simple fact is that Kasabian are not as yet 'proper' headline material, but the support act to 'proper' headline material .... them supporting Oarses shows that as the case.

this is the best news so far! however its going to be a struggle getting away from the front of the pyramid after kasabian ( i like bruce but im sure there will be someone i prefer elsewhere), i may have to stay for a few of his songs! ah well, go with the flow

Lets be fair about this now. They have played this second slot before. Whilst other bands to play second include: Kasier Chiefs, Kooks, Fratellis, Black Eyed Peas, Kings of Leon (2004), Killers (2005)....Not big enough my arse!!!
