Simple fact is that Kasabian are not as yet 'proper' headline material, but the support act to 'proper' headline material .... them supporting Oarses shows that as the case.

I dont doubt that, but we were told about a 4th headliner and now it feels like we've got one., and with the way kasabian tour dates have planned out i can't believe they didn't have an eye on glasto long before anyone here knew anything about it.

if you think them headline material I guess that you'd accept just about any band as headline material. To date, they're defo short of being headline material.

And while they might have deliberately kept that weekend free for some reason - perhaps because they were going to play somewhere at Glastonbury (tho I suspect it has more to do with Noel Gallagher wanting to do his normal "I am a god, come and worship me" thing at Glasto) - they've defo only been lined up for this slot in the last few weeks.
