Red Day
Heard from a pretty decent source that the two headliners will be announced tomorrow. I've been told who they are and if it's true (for me) it's a very good couple of bands. One of them has played before and one hasn't. Not the Levellers or Charlatans but I'm well happy if it's the ones I've been told. Will def be going now

Iain333
Doves and Primal Scream would be unbelieveable, really really like em. Fantastic bands - good shout! Edited April 6, 2009 by Iain333
Red Day
Great shout, but wrong one has a couple of albums and the other loads. Doves would have been great
Iain333
I was actually getting really excited to see Doves there. Has one of them actually headlined before? Edited April 6, 2009 by Iain333
duncan123
The Fratellis!
Red Day
Nope, both English bands
Iain333
Quite relieved it's not Fratellis actually in a way with the rumour that they'd be headlining aswell, although wouldn't really be bothered as I didn't really go near the Main stage last year and still had a fantasic time. Iain333
I was thinking James or Magic Numbers aswell, but doubt they'll get a headliner back so soon. This isn't T In The Park!

thedementedpoppet
I suspect it will be the editors: Editors Want To Play Belladrum Festival Again Feb 28 2008 Beverley Lyons And Laura Sutherland EDITORS might sell out big venues across the country, but they say they would love to play the more intimate Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, in Inverness, this summer. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment...86908-20333967/ They played a superb set at rockness and i think they would go down really well. The second act I am presuming are more esthablished and have not played Belladrum before. So let me deduct... the headliner has on two occassions been the same as Guilfest so motor head or the happy mondays? (nope not gonna happen).... the headliner has been touring during easter allowing promotion to go out at the gigs for thier belladrum appearance: simply red, ultravox, the specials? I am really not sure given that the levellers I thought were dead certs (especially as they asked to play). I do hope its not a band that has played up here in a bit (there must be a temptation to book the stranglers) please please please let it not be the truly terrible magic numbers I also wonder how two non scottish headliners fits with the homecoming funding that belladrum recieved this year?
