New album out soon, favoured by the NME (well they use to be, not sure these days), not played for a bit etc.

They have a completely new sound with thier new release and seem to be getting quite bit of critical praise for it.

Think it is likely they play somewhere in the NME? a very marmite band.

Yes a very marmite band.I like them personally.

Be weird though when they play their new album, going from their 1st album to this "psychedelic" as its being labelled 2nd album.

Will they slot in on the mainstage? Or high up nme?

i saw them at reading 2007 and thought they were hilarious! the younger memebrs of the crowd seemed to love them though.

i would expect to see them high up on the tent line up as like people have said, they are flavour of the month.

If you think that I would say you need to listen to more music...

Not that is not a good album, but it is very derivative and they cleary show thier influence, they really aren't doing anything new at all, though they are doing it well. They have good taste.

I knowwww, I clearly am a spellbound fool thinking this is highly original,

has NO influence from any german krautrock bands or early shoegaze, no can, no slowdive, no my bloody valentine, no neu!, none atall.
