Question regarding a day ticket and overnight parking

Hey, im going for the weekend, but 2 of my mates only have saturday day tickets, they might drive down but want to stay overnight til sunday morning, does a day car parking permit allow them to leave sunday morning?

could they not just get weekend parking, then turn up saturday morning and leave sunday or will they have to show a weekend ticket too?

i said its unlikely, but i want to clarify this, if they cant theyl probably get the train

don't think day ticket allows you to park on site. The weekend parking thing might work. Probably easier to get train. No worries about drinking until late that way either.

They used to run buses back to London at stupid o clock in the morning, your mates might be able to get one of those if they still run? You get very odd looks wandering round the west end at 5am covered in mud though...
