ok, as i write this 12 acts have been confirmed and id like to see them all tho i know i cant as they will clash, but IMO its all excellent

1.Emilana Torrini - onl one id not heard of and just checked her out . lovely acoustic stuff

2.Fleet Foxes - has a band ever sounded so perfect for glastonbury - really excited

3.Florence and the machine - saw supporting glasvegas and think she is great and wanna see her again

4.The Ting Tings - i like the big drum thing and my 18th month daughter loves thats not my name - cool

5.Doves - they really better play the cedar room as its one of my all time fave songs

6.Echo and the Bunnymen - my all time best opening act in 97 but will clash with Boss, sorry Ian

7.White Lies - again saw them support glasvegas and would happily see them again, tunes!

8.Blur - saw them headline in 98 i think it was - all time brit greats.

9.Bruce Springsteen - one of the biggest acts of all time and my first ever gig in '88 - so excited

10.Franz Ferdinand - if i was not watching the boss id be here as ive always wanted to see them

11.Neil Young - all time great, wanna hear philidelphia, string man and safeway cart most of all

12.Lilly Allen - awwww i think she is lovely, nice voice, really enjoyed her with Ronson last year

half of these acts have under 5 years of releasing records, so would be classed as new and 'ahem' relevant;half of the acts are absolute classic performers in history of music - perfect mix in my book

so all positive for me so far, what does that say about me, a lover of music or something else?

please let it be june tomorrow......................................

Good luck with your Neil Young requests

He's played Stringman a little of late, but not at Glasto.

I'd probably see all of them if nobody else was on bar the Ting Tings, but only the headliners, Florence (who I discovered at Glasto 2007) and Doves (who will clash with the big 3) are bands I'd go out of my way to see.

Naa load of rubbish, this is more like it in keeping with the forum;

1.Emilana Torrini - haven't heard of her for a reason

2.Fleet Foxes - glorified folk music

3.Florence and the machine - needs more than a machine to make Florence any good

4.Ting Tings - favourites for most annoying act at Glasto this year; in the words of Rafa Benitez FACT

5.Doves - depressing northern rubbish

6.Echo and the Bunnymen - probably relevant in 1997

7.White Lies - yawn

8.Blur - Chas and Dave in band form

9.Bruce Springsteen - The Boss? would prefer my own boss on stage and I can't stand her

10.Franz Ferdinand - student nonsense

11.Neil Young - bring yer sleeping bags

12.Lilly Allen - 50% celebrity 50% rubbish music

Bring on some big acts; Coldplay, Madonna, U2 or Elvis or I'm selling me ticket
